Beating Off with Gnome

CNN needs to really think before titling their articles. I mean, "beats off burglar with gnome" can easily be perverted by the likes of, well, me. In any case, the story itself is pretty funny. It all started when a British Grandma hear someone on her roof...

"I grabbed the first thing that came to hand -- one of my garden gnomes -- and hurled it at him, and hit him," she recalled.

"He lay there and I began to scream. I went back into the kitchen and found a rolling pin in case he came down. I didn't want to break another gnome."

I never thought of a garden gnomes as a weapon, but I guess a small concrete creature would smack the bejesus out of you.
