Every week I look forward to the West Side Leader not for the articles or the crappy pixilated pictures, but for the neighborhood watch. Here are the highlights of the lowlifes from the Greater Akron Area...

BATH POLICE: A driver, who nearly ran down an officer making a traffic stop at the corner of Smith and Sand Run roads at 1 a.m. May 4, failed a field sobriety test and was charged with DUI. His BAC tested .265.

NORTON POLICE: Police in Norton and Barberton are investigating reports that a male impersonating California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has been making lewd and threatening comments over the phone to female employees from Norton and Barberton at a pizza restaurant where the victims work.

RICHFIELD POLICE: Police were called to the scene of a fight involving members of a family in a room of a Brecksville Road motel May 1. A woman in the room was extremely intoxicated and became combative and verbally threatening with officers. According to family members, she had been drinking all day. She was arrested for disorderly conduct.
