Gasoline isn't the only gas with a soaring price tag. Natural gas has also been on the rise. The BJ's Betty Lin-Fisher has assembled all the info you need to help you pick your next package when it comes to your natural gas provider. She's done all the research for you and gives you the best options for your personality. Think of her as a gas company matchmaker. Here are the options she's come up with:

- Willing to ride the ups and downs of the market with a safety net to save money? Go for WPS' one-year offer with a price cap of $10.35/mcf. It comes with the possibility of lower rates if market prices decrease. The opening rate is $9.85/mcf.

- Willing to ride the market, for low prices now? The problem is the rate could climb and you may miss the boat to lock in. Go with WPS' fixed quarterly rate, which changes every three months with no long-term contracts. The current rate through September is $8.99/mcf.

- Nervous about riding the market, but don't want to lock into a multiyear rate at all-time highs? Go for a one-year fixed rate. The cheapest is Vectren Source's $9.50/mcf.

- Worried that prices will continue to rise or want to lock into a long-term rate and forget about it? Go for a three-year fixed deal. There are two to choose from: Either Dominion East Ohio Energy's $9.39/mcf with a $50 cancellation fee, or MXenergy's $9.55/mcf with a $25 cancellation fee. The two are pretty comparable once you figure out the initial rates versus the cancellation fee.
