"Free" Trees
I came across this in the West Side Leader. I thought all you future garden club members might like it.Ten free white flowering dogwood trees will be given to each person who joins The National Arbor Day Foundation during August.West Side Leader :: Free trees offered
The trees will be shipped postpaid at the right time for planting between Oct. 15 and Dec. 10 with enclosed planting instructions. The 6- to 12-inch trees are guaranteed to grow or they will be replaced free of charge.
To receive the trees, send a $10 membership contribution to: TEN DOGWOODS, National Arbor Day Foundation, 100 Arbor Ave., Nebraska City, NE 68410, or join at the Web site arborday.org.
