Workin' Out at the Rec

Neat! The University is now letting non-university peeps join their Rec Center. The UA Rec is loaded with equipment and two pools, more then enough to make the average Akronite sweat like a pig.

Until now, the University of Akron's modern and trendy recreation center has been used almost exclusively by its students, faculty and staff.

But UA is opening the center to the public for $735 a year.

$735!??!?!?! Really? You could join the JCC for a lot less.

Plus, everyone knows that the more you pay for a gym membership, the less you actually workout.
