The Amazing Race

I was driving to work today and I noticed aproximately 100 billion political signs. "Why is this happening so soon?" I thought to myself. "It's still summer. The windows are down on my car. There are to be no politcal signs out while my windows are down!" I was ready to work myself up into a rage, but the hangover quickly made me realize that the effort wasn't worth it.

After my ride in this morning, it dawned on me: elections are only 2 months away. That just seems creepy to me. It seems like it was only yesterday that I was dissapointed by the 2004 election. How could this one be coming so soon? Then I opened The BJ only to find all kinds of political buzz. It looks like Ward 7 will be a big showdown with five candidates who have thrown their hats into the ring.
