Leavin' This Babylon

Last night I went to Annabell's over in Highland Square for 50 cent draft night/ladies night. My friend Courtney who works there came up and told me that the owner of Babylon/Metro had moved back to England and that the bar had closed its doors for good. I felt a little pang of sadness sweep over me; Babylon was the first bar I went to after turning 18. I knew the bar had been up for sale for quite some time, but I never expected it to just close. Hopefully someone will step up and buy the joint. Who knows, maybe the next owner will do some remodeling.
