UA Agreement

An initial deal between the University of Akron and the faculty of the college has been reached by negotiators... blah... blah... blah... I don't care about that! Here's the really important part of the story:

According to the AAUP national office in Washington, D.C., the average salary of a full professor at public colleges nationwide is $97,700.

As of the AAUP's annual salary survey last spring, the average salary for a full professor at $88,500 at Cleveland State and $81,800 at UA.

Is this true? If so I'm gonna hound some profs I know for some killer Chrismukkah gifts.
