Tuba Christmas!

I heart Tuba Christmas!

Akron's Tuba Christmas is on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at the Akron Civic Theatre located at 182 South Main St. Parking is available in lots and decks near the theatre.

Come listen to holiday songs performed on approximately 500 tubas, baritones, sousaphones and euphoniums, played by performers of all ages.

The two FREE performances are at 4 and 6:30 p.m. If you have a tuba and wish to join in the fun, registration is from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the front lobby of the Civic. Registration fee is $5.00 and music costs $10.00. Fees are for musicians only! Players receive refreshments and a pin commemorating the year.

Note that Akron's TubaChristmas is one of the largest and flashiest in the United States.
