RubberBuzz is dedicated to finding fun in Akron. Even though it seems like a lost cause, we're sure we'll find a few good things to do. Check back often to keep up on Akron's potential fun. Mia - Style Editor

Mia was originally a reluctant Akron transplant. Then she lived here and realized that the city suits her quite well. Her favorite places about town are Fuel, Aladdin's, Two Amigos, Sakura Sushi and Revival. Much like Akron, she's currently only living up to 25% of her potential. But Mia has no doubt that they both can, and will, do better in the next few years.

A Scorpio since 1976, she would give up food before cable. She gets bored easily but is often too lazy to do anything about it. She likes the liquor and prefers it in a martini glass. She loves drinking with her fellow buzzer, Joe, but no longer lets him pour the drinks... f'cking gay drinks. She also likes shopping, yoga, poker, movies, and being right. She's addicted to The O.C. and Lost. You might think you've got her all figured out but you're wrong. She's secretly judging you.

Joe - Lifestyles Editor

Joe is a recent disenfranchised college grad who would rather make fun of the world then actually live in it. He enjoys booze, lots of booze. And not just any booze, Kettle One martini, dry, dirty and 3 olives. He finds humor in uptight conservatives, stupid criminals, stupid uptight conservative criminals, and Ziggy.

Joe loves checking out the scene and seeing what the cool kids are up to. His favorite bars in Akron include Fuel, Metro/Babylon, Annabelle’s and anywhere where he can get Mia thoroughly drunk. His favorite places for grub are Two Amigos, Bricco, Aladdin’s and House of Hunan (all offering great vegetarian fair).
