Akron FoodBruchetta at BriccoBricco, 1 West Exchange Street, 330.475.1600 Bricco is located right in the heart of Downtown at the corner of West Exchange and South Main Street. The place has an upscale attitude with moderate prices, a great atmosphere and most importantly a great martini list. The group I was with ordered several appetizers. They all looked great, but I was the most impressed by the Crab Quesadillas. The gooey cheese and crab were accompanied by a pineapple salsa that really worked well. The menu itself ranges from pastas to steaks to specialty pizzas. The pizzas seemed to be the most unique items on the menu so I gravitated to that. There was a super-meat pizza that seemed to have a piece of every known animal on it. My friend across the table got that one, and, wow, I could hear his arteries clogging from across the table. I ended up getting an olive, feta and fresh tomato pizza. It was pretty good, but it paled in comparison to the crab quesadillas. This place is a definite keeper in my mind. Their menu has something to offer everyone at prices that are no more then The Olive Garden. If you’re on a budget and you want to go somewhere nice, try this place and split a salad and a pizza; your meal will be under $20. If you can, try to get a window seat. That way you can watch all the people as they make their way to bars and play Bar-Hopper Bingo. Atmosphere: Foodies:
